Captain Stannard is opening up the back deck for an evening that needs no agenda. Join us on the portside deck for drinks, good company, and a little yacht rock.

Marcus has always believed breakfast should have at least one element, that is consistent . . . Bacon!


The first time we served this bacon, it wasn't planned. We were experimenting, trying to elevate familiar favorites in small ways. A little brown sugar, a crack of black pepper, and suddenly the kitchen smelled like something entirely new.


While this is a delicious addition to breakfast, it is also a fun way to serve with cocktails.


(Who doesn't love bacon?!)

  • The Kate — always worth checking the calendar.


  • Scotch Plains Tavern — for when you want music with your dinner, not instead of it.


  • Coastline Brewing— good for the nights you didn't plan anything and that's fine too.

The whole town is throwing a birthday party and the guest of honor is the country itself.


Bill's Seafood is running their canoe race, which is exactly as chaotic and wonderful as it sounds.


,Fireworks, activities, the works, all weekend. Two hundred and fifty years and somehow we're the ones who get the fireworks.
